10 organic lemon peels (yellow skin only, no white)
2 cups 100 proof vodka
add to a jar and let sit in a cool, dark place for 2 weeks
strain peels & combine with 1 cup simple syrup (1 cup sugar, 1 cup water)
store in freezer
